We stopped here for a snack & drink on our way to Snowshoe. Such an adorable place. We sat on the deck & enjoyed a fruit & Swiss cheese tray with Arnie Palmers. The staff was so nice!

Quaint, unique, and awesome. Had the Sampler plate. The food was excellent. Each room in the old house is set up with tables for different group sizes. Decor is sweet and well done. Will stop again when passing through.

Is the long drive out to this place worth the time and effort??? Yes, ABSOLUTELY!!!! We got a ham dinner and the bratwurst. Ham was good. Bratwurst was amazing. Rosti was perfect. Sauerkraut and apple sauce were both excellent. Cheese was delicious. Salad was fresh with delicious dressing and lots of fresh veggies. Fresh flowers and cheese plate come with the meal. We are in the library. If this is Swiss cooking than I am officially neutral (thank you). Scenery and Service are great. The beauty of the spot can not be properly expressed in words or pictures.

We celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary at the Hutte. This was our second visit and first time at brunch. OH MY GOSH. It was devine. Worth every penny and worth the drive from wherever you are. We love the atmosphere and the old world charm. Please never change! I'll be talking about this meal for weeks

This is a beautiful place in a very beautiful and quiet town. The restaurant has great food and fast service. The people here are very friendly. The cheese is wonderful, I would recommend getting the cheese plate to try out their local made cheese. Their house made sausage is great as well. Make sure you bring cash as they are cash and check only. But the prices are good and reasonable.

We stopped here during Helvetia's annual Fasnacht celebration. They only offered a sampler platter, due to the large amount of Fasnacht attendees. The food was great. Service was great. The whole town is just a lovely remote place. Highly recommend taking a road trip here at least once!

Unlike anything you'll ever experience. I've heard people say that this cozy restaurant is more authentic than some of the food stops in the Swiss Alps. There is so much history and culture on display here. You have to try the cheese, apple sauce, and bratwurst. I wasn't a huge fan of their homemade sausage. Maybe I got it on a off day but it was dry.

Good food. The blamco mac n cheese was very nice. The Salisbury steak was a bit hard but rather tasty. The employees there wasn’t very nice. The scorched aren’t very nice. Some robots started parading around the town. Very interesting place. Loved the vibe and the excellent building! Please order fancy lady snacks
